Many people with a disability have unique abilities and attriibutes that are valuable to Employers.

Essential Personnel is a specialised employment agency that helps you recognise these abilities, to find a job that suits your requirements and helps you to keep your job.
What Essential Personnel Can Do For You We do this by finding you work that uses the knowledge base and skills you already have. Or we can help by training you in the skills you'll need to work in the job we'll find you.

We work hard to find employers who need safe, productive, reliable workers who have special skills to offer. We then offer them your server. We make sure that you enjoy the same conditions and rewards as other workers.

What Essential Personnel will do for you

  • We will assist you to find a job that suits your unique abilities
  • We will provide you with on the job training and arrange any other specific training you will require
  • We will arrange for a fellow worker in your workplace to assist you and to help you with anything you many find difficult
  • We will assist with any extra training you may need as your job develops
  • We will keep in touch with you to make sure that everything is going well for both you and your employer

Are You Eligible?

Eligible people are those who have a disability that impacts on your ability to secure and maintain a job. Are You Eligible?

  • You will need to have a job capacity assessment through Centrelink to be referred to Essential Personnel unless you are a school student
  • You must want to work in open employment for at least 8 hours per week
  • You must live in the Central Wheatbelt or East Metropolitan districts of Western Australia
  • You must be between 15 and 65 years old

    You can contact Essential Personnel yourself or through a friend or family member to make an appointment with Essential Personnel. We can assist you with any arrangements you must make with Centrelink.
