About Essential Personnel

Essential Personnel is a “specialist employment agency” which assists people with a disability in finding work and developing skills within their chosen career path. We currently provide these services to people living in the Central Wheatbelt region, through to the Eastern Metropolitan suburbs. Our offices are in Northam, Midland, Merredin and Moora.

We believe that people with a disability have a right to work in open employment regardless of the extent, or severity of their disability. In our opinion, people with a disability and their families are in the best position to actively plan their careers and make the necessary choices to further their careers.

We have been operating since 1989 and are now the longest serving employment agency in the Central Wheatbelt area. Since commencing operations we have assisted over 300 people into 700 jobs. 30% of our current workers are placed in jobs with either large business, or the public sector.

We are an incorporated society and are funded through the Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Our organization is governed by a Board of Management, which is elected by the membership of Essential Personnel at the Annual General Meeting. Our staff members offer an extraordinary range of skills and experience to ensure successful employment outcomes for people with a disability.
